Gizmodo has a small gallery of crazy coffins, and this one caught my attention. I guess this egg would look nice next to your wicker couch.

Ummm….WTF? I’m at a loss of words, but Design Spotter had this to say about this coffin, “The work of cajo-design starts where other designers give up. Designing beautiful coffins is an exciting but not easy task. Particularly in Germany innovation in the dying culture is blocked by the funeral parlour. Fortunately the open minded manufacturer of coffins Diefenbach and the Designer Carmen J. Breuker started their sensational cooperation.”

Oh, for the love of all things Canadian….like Pabst Blue Ribbon. An Illinois man named Bill Bramanti designed this coffin to look like a beer can….bet you can’t guess what his favorite beer is. Thanks to bornrich.org for this gem.

Oddly enough, I found this coffin on 30minutemeals.com. Not sure I’d be bookmarking too many recipes from the site, but they do have a long list of coffins for Going out with a Bang.

I swear I saw this at my local Ikea store. There’s something very sick and twisted about building your own coffin.

I have no idea how common these are, but they look very similar to the Tupperware stuff you see at Wal-Mart for your Christmas decorations. Whatever the case, Alternative News Sources posted this picture, explaining that the government ordered half a million of these. Follow the link for the rest of the story. I just liked the looks of the coffin.
